Have you ever wanted to use a mix of medias to sketch a life model?
Well, in these sessions we'll be providing not only with pencils and charcoals but with watercolours paints, watercolour pencils, brushes and pastels to really enjoy sketching a great variety of models, ranging from nude and semi-nude to those in fantastic costumes.
We also welcome anyone to come and use any media they like, such as collage, mix media or even clay **. Tables will be for everyone to spread the materials and the studio has three sinks for us to use
These sessions will be held every last Sunday of the month from 3pm-5.30pm in Studio Bee, in the Northern Quarter of Manchester, and doors will be open from 2.30pm for people to prepare. Our models will perform a mix of short and long poses : starting from 5 minutes and with a 1 hour long pose at the end. We'll be providing snacks in the break.

You can come alone, with a member of your family, or with friends. That's absolutely fine. We just want people to enjoy and have a nice time.

Our model will be drag queen Johnny Humes, a great painter himself who's exhibited recently at The Lowry in an exhibition called QUEENS. He's a fantastic costume maker and will pose with his amazing Marie Antoinette costume.
